American Heart Association

BLS Provider

This course is the up to date 2020 guidelines.  This course is for healthcare providers who have never taken BLS course.  You will learn how to perform CPR for adult, child and infant.  You will also learn how to use an AED as well as a bag mask device.  You will learn about team dynamics which is important when working in a 2 or more people.

BLS Renewal

This course is the up to date 2020 guidelines.  This course is for healthcare providers who have a current BLS card.  This course focuses on reviewing CPR skills for adult, child and infant.  You will also review how to use an AED and bag mask device.  Team dynamics is also reviewed as it is very important to learn how to communicate when working in a team situation.  

HeartCode BLS

This course is the up to date 2020 guidelines.  This is the e-learning option for students who are look for an alternative for completing their BLS certification.  For this course, the student MUST complete Part 1 online and print out the certificate once online test is completed.  The student must also bring this certificate to the REQUIRED skills session with an American Heart Association instructor.

ACLS Provider

This course is the up to date 2020 guidelines.  This course is for healthcare providers who have not taken the ACLS course before.  This course builds on the foundation of BLS for healthcare providers who are required to participate in resuscitating a cardiac arrest patient.  This course also focuses on the importance of team dynamics while providing high quality CPR.

ACLS Update

This course is the up to date 2020 guidelines.  This course is for those healthcare providers who have a current BLS and ACLS certification cards.  This course reviews the algorithms that are required for caring for cardiac patients.  This course also reivews team dynamics that are important for team work during a resuscitation attempts.  

HeartCode ACLS

This is an e-learning option for students who are looking for an alternative for completing their ACLS certification.  For this course, the student must complete Part 1 online and print out the certificate once the online portion is completed.  The student must also complete a skills session with an instructor.

PALS Provider

This course is the up to date 2020 guidelines.  This is healthcare providers who have never taken PALS.  This course builds on the foundation of BLS for children and infants and are required to participate in respiratory and cardiac patients.  This course also focuses on the importance of team dynamics because good communication is extremely important for effective team work.

PALS Update

This course is the up to date 2020 guidelines.  This course is for those healthcare providers who have a current BLS and PALS certification cards.  This course also reviews all algorithms that are required for caring for children and infants.  This course also reviews team dynamics which is critical in all emergency situations.  

HeartCode PALS

This is the up to date 2020 guidelines.  This is an e-learning option for students who are looking for an alternative for completing their ACLS certification.  For this course, the student must complete Part 1 online and print out the certificate once the online portion is completed.  The student must also complete a skills session with an instructor.

HeartSaver CPR / AED

This course is the up to date 2020 guidelines.  This course is for lay rescuers who do not work in the medical field.  This course teaches you how to do CPR and use and AED on adult, child and infant.  This course also covers choking as well.  If you have a swimming pool, this is the course you want to take for learning how to treat a drowning patient.

HeartSaver First Aid / CPR / AED 

This course is the up to date 2020 guidelines.  This course includes everything that the HeartSaver CPR / AED plus medical emergencies such as how to perform bleeding control, how to treat diabetes, heart attack, opioids overdoses and a variety of emergencies.

HeartSaver Bloodborne Pathogens

This course teaches you how to protect yourself from blood or blood-containing materials.  This course does meet OSHA requirements for bloodbourne pathogen training.
