Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT)
Today, active shooter scenes are playing out all across the United States. Would you know how to respond? AVERT is a one of a kind training where it combines how to respond to an active shooter and how to treat life threatening bleeding.
You will first learn how the necessary steps on how to respond to an active shooter incident. You will learn the warning signs and situational awareness. You will also learn escape, evade, attack and active shooter response protocols.
You will also learn emergency bleeding control techniques and learn how to apply pressure, pack wounds and how to use a tourniquet.
This is why it is important to get this critical training. Someone could die in 3 minutes if life threatening is not treated. These skills should be skills that everyone should learn. These skills should be practiced on a regular basis. It is not in the moment of an active shooter incident do you want to be applying a tourniquet for the first time especially if it is a loved one.

You can also take a first aid class to learn how to treat medical emergencies such as a heart attack, diabetes and other medical emergencies.
You can also take a bloodborne pathogens class to teach you how to protect yourself from blood and blood containing materials.
A medical emergency can happen at any time. It just takes a few hours to get the skills necessary to protect yourself and others.
This class is a blended learning format. After signing up for the class, you will get the online portion via email that must be completed prior to coming to class.
